Role Statement
• Market and sell Ahli Bank Retail Banking products by using the direct approach method to prospective customers.
• Ensure that the team is achieving and exceeding the targets and objectives set by the Head of Business Development
• Ensure the DSU team is a consistent group who advertises, promote and secure business throughout Sultanate of Oman in a very customer centric manner.
Key Objectives
1. Manage DSU Team and achievement of targets set by the Bank.
2. Maximize DSU Executive efficiency through continuous motivation and guidance.
3. Ensuring that all sales meet the required quality criteria & that periodic Checks have been carried out.
4. Report on a weekly basis (MI) reports:
a. Sales vs. achievements vs. targets.
b. Quality Parameters.
5. Follow up and support members of the team whenever is required and ensure that these enquiries have been answered and met.
6. Ensure the daily activity sheet is filled in accurately and submitted to the Sales Coordinators on time.
7. Ensure all the team members follow the DSU procedure and that the target of the team is being met.
8. Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the DSU Executive and take right action whenever necessary.
9. Gather relevant information, create a proper database, and carry out the roles and tasks assigned by the Head of Business Development.
10. Joint meeting with the team (DSA’s).
11. Weekly branch visit and meeting for business review.
Principal Responsibilities
• Building relationship with company and government to increase CASA (deposit) and loans.
• Handling open days in companies and ministries by opening doors for DSU and follow up.
• Provide support to branches and sales in terms of business and sales support sales.
• Handling marketing activities for Retail Banking.
Person Specifications
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• In-depth knowledge of retail products and markets.
• Excellent communication and selling skills.
• 5 years of expereince in banking sector with minimum of two years as Team leader.
