|Job Title : Assistance Maintenance Technician|

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, modification, repair, maintenance and reliability of the plant’s, equipments and machines. Will be responsible to establish and perform daily preventative maintenance on the plant’s equipment and facilities. In addition, they will make adjustments and repairs to production equipment in cooperation with the other to assist with resolving persistent issues. He will focus on plant reliability and on optimizing uptime
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Core Area: 1. Responsible for carrying out different mechanical repairs and fabrication works as per assigned schedules and / or instructions from Foreman and Engineer. 2. Work as a member of a group in carrying out different types of mechanical maintenance activities such as overhauling / repairing of machines, cleaning and maintaining dedusting units, vulcanizing belt conveyors, etc.3. Ensure quality of jobs done (adherence to timelines, minimal rework of jobs, minimal user complaints)4. Ensure proper adherence to equipment / machine handing over procedures – remove and make sure that all maintenance tools / material and personnel are cleared from the working site and the equipment is safe to resume operation before handing over to production / user department.5. Inspect tools and equipment ‘especially lifting equipment’ before use and make sure they are of suitable loads, good condition and safe to use.6. Modifies and tests machinery and equipment, according to the theories and principles of mechanical engineering.7. Modifies mechanical fabrication, assembly and testing requirements.8. Ensure quality of maintenance jobs (adherence to timelines and minimal rework of jobs)9. Adhere to policies, processes, systems relating to maintenance functions 10. Inspect tools and equipment ‘especially lifting equipment’ before using and make sure they are of suitable loads, good and safe condition to use.11. Write a technical repot about the routine inspection, execution of preventive maintenance schedules and repair works of mechanical equipment/systems for the designated area.12. Coordinate with the foreman on preparing spare parts, tools and material for each work assignment.13. Liaise with other group members / supervisors / foremen / operators / technicians to ensure smooth coordination of inter relation activities and handing over of equipments for maintenance and operation.14. Ensure maintenance of relevant records15. Help in annual inventory and stocks of the consumables16. Carry out all other duties as assigned to him by the superiors from time to time.
Planning, Logistic17. Assist in planning the daily tasks and execution of the plan for the designated area.18. Assist in planning the procurement of important consumables and spare parts for the area19. Responsible to comply with the company policy related to spare parts withdrawal from the store using SAP.
Tools: 20. Arrange and ensure the fitness and availability of the tools and the equipments involved for the work of his area. 21. Maintenance of the tools, equipments and spare parts of the concerned areas.
Safety and Cleanness23. Ensure good housekeeping and cleanness of the work sites and the workshop and make sure that all left over material / scrap are removed and properly disposed.24. Ensures the compliance with safety rules, work permit system, good working practice, proper implementation of procedures, quality and environmental requirements and regulations.25. Ensure adherence to equipment / machine handing over procedure – before handing over equipment / machine for operation, check and makes sure that all maintenance tools / material and personnel are cleared from the working site and the equipment is safe to resume operation.26. Assure environmental compliance and clean plant operations27. Implement quality environment protection and safety policies of the company
People: 28. Work effectively with the team to achieve the target.29. Ensure training and development of trainees attached to him (Omani trainees)30. Identifying training needs gap for himself in coordination with the direct supervisor. 31. Give guidance, support to other team member.Additional Duties/Duties in Emergency
The duties will involve working in shift schedule. As when required, to be shifted to other section within the department. Respond to emergency call-outs on nights, weekends and holidays and perform assigned duties in the event of emergency.

Job Purpose: Responsible for establishing and running the Project Management Department with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
– Manage the administration for project submissions and approvals through the agreed prioritisation and approval process, maintaining a pipeline of approved projects – Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility- Ensures a clear and consistent approach is in place to manage risk with alignment to the Finance & Business risk registers and the Corporate risk register – Ensure detailed project, implementation or actions plans are created for the duration of each project as appropriate – Deliver an effective and timely schedule of project communications liaising with the relevant Sponsors and stakeholders including the Communications Team- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis- Ensure resource availability and allocation- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects- Collate qualitative and quantitative information on project performance for the preparation and production of project reports for internal management purposes – Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals using appropriate tools and techniques- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders- Work closely with Business Services teams (as well as internal and external project partners where appropriate) to devise, develop and deliver appropriate and proportionate systems to evaluate key activities at a project level – Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members` individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels- Ensure that project documentation recorded in both electronic and hard copy meets with internal and external audit standards – Manage the PMO team and provides performance feedback and goal-setting; conducts annual performance assessments and skill development and training – Perform other related duties as assigned

– Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related filed, – Minimum 10 years’ experience in the filed of project management preferably related to the cement industry or similar industry. – Proven working experience in project management- Recognized formal project management qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30 or equivalent) is desirable – Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
